Susan Strumpf so kindly offered to share the pattern she made up for making covers for composition notebooks. This makes a cover that fits a standard composition notebook sized 9.75 x 7.5". Follow the example with HST and flying geese or use whatever scraps and extra quilt blocks you have to make unique and colorful covers. These make lovely gifts for teachers, friends, or as a memory notebook for someone special. Some photos of past covers using applique, patchwork, memory neckties, and quilt blocks are included for extra inspiration.
