Love me some Gnomes'- Heart Gnomes for Valentines❣️ - Pattern and Inspiration
Gnomes in Love is a new line of fabric by Tara Reed for Riley Blake Designs, right in time for Valentine's Day, or any time you need a little joy and love in your life! It has such cute gnomes in the prints, and I found a great pattern to make with the fabric.
Gnomes in Love was designed by Tara, and here is what she said was her inspiration behind her new collection. “While gnomes have been gracing gardens for years, the Nordic gnomes with ample beards, round noses, and no faces have become the hot new decorating trend. Traditionally associated with Christmas, they are now making us smile all year long!… Gnomes have become one of my favorite art subjects when I want to do something bright and joyful. As I painted the hearts that would wrap around one gnome and be tossed in the air by another like confetti, I had a big smile on my face. I’m excited to share Gnomes in Love with you and hope they bring joy and love to all of your sewing and quilting projects!"
While looking through Riley Blakes blog for inspiration to share for this line, I same across a table topper that was made by Deonn @Quiltscapes. She is a blogger for Riley Blake Fabrics. Here is the cute Table Topper she made from the Fabric.

The Gnome pattern she used was a free on from Hello Melly Designs. This gnome pattern is easy because it is a heart block with a hat on top. It is very easy piecing. The block will measure 8.5″ x 9″, and it’s just so cute! She made it for a mug rug initially when she designed the pattern
