Solar Flare Quilt Kit by Tula Pink- Unboxing and Sew Along

Solar Flare by Tula Pink is a great quilt to learn how to paper piece.  We are going to start a new Sew Along on May 6, 2022 to show you how we get started and the basics of paper piecing.  This is a great quilt to start with because it uses the same blocks a number of times, so you get to practice the same skills and it becomes easier.  It is a Friday, and we will do a video for each section and it will be available on the following dates.  We will break it down into 4 sections to help you master paper piecing skills.  So join us for this Sew Along.

Time line for us to post.  You can sew at your own speed.  Do not feel that you have to keep up if life gets in the way.  We will keep all the info posted for the full year.

Month 1 - May 6, 2022 - How to get your fabrics labeled, cut, and basics on paper piecing - Labeling your pattern for ease of piecing. - Getting your Prep done before you start is key in this process.  Gathering all your supplies needed.

Month 1 - May  20, 2022 - Section 1 - Center of the quilt - Start the journey

Month 2 - June 3, 2022 - Section 2 - Purple Blocks - 8 blocks in total

Month 3 - July 8, 2022 - Section 3 - Setting Triangle Blocks and Four Corners

Month 3 - August 3, 2022 - Section 4 - Sewing the center block together and adding borders.
