Are you a hands-on learner? Join the Seed Packets Workshop where Kaffe and Brandon personally help you with your color journey and picking out fabrics for the Seed Packets quilts! This class has a limit of 20 people to ensure everyone gets some personally tailored advice from Kaffe.

October 2nd | Diamond Quilt Workshop $475
9:30am - 4:30pm

The second class features Kaffe’s Contrast Diamonds pattern from his Quilts in London book and is all about color theory, great for beginners and advanced quilters alike! This class has a limit of 20 people to ensure everyone gets some personally tailored advice from Kaffe. Each full-day workshop focuses on color placement and bold design choices under the guidance of Kaffe and Brandon. No sewing machines are needed as the emphasis is on artistic vision rather than construction.

Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably Workshops 2025

“Why strive for complicated, difficult to sew arrangements when simple, squares, diamonds and triangles are so endlessly fascinating as long as the colours are alive.” –Kaffe Fassett

In his lectures and workshops, Kaffe Fassett reveals how he experiences the colours and basic shapes around him, how we can train our own eyes to see this rewarding source of creativity, and how we can, just as he does, combine striking fabrics with simple shapes to create our own spectacular quilt designs. In each workshop, Kaffe & Brandon will teach and mentor each participant's own personal colour journey through fabric choice and placement. Everyone will follow the same process of choosing fabrics as Kaffe and Brandon do when they are designing, working on a design wall flannel. The design wall flannel is then rolled up with their quilt to take home at the end of the day. No sewing takes place during the workshop. No sewing machines are needed.
