Inspired by the colour palette of Morris & Co.’s historic wallpaper catalogue and pairing perfectly with the new Morris & Co. paint colors, The Trellis Palette takes 160 years of colour heritage and reveals a curated collection of haberdashery fabrics, rich in tradition and giving the iconic Strawberry Thief new shades to revel in. From the deep flatness of Inky Fingers, a colour founded by Morris as he tested the traditional indigo-discharge printing method at Merton Abbey, to Kelmscott Water, a delicate green-blue taken from the background colour of the Lily design (c. 1873), every shade has a richly layered story to tell.
