On-Point Setting Tips:

  • Side setting triangles are quarter-square triangles (grain on the long edge) so the quilt edge stays stable
  • Corner triangles are half-square triangles (grain on the short edges)
  • Cut setting triangles slightly oversized and trim to size after assembly for better accuracy
  • The diagonal of a square = side × 1.414 (√2)
